I. Process mineralogy of ore

(1) The material composition of the ore

The chemical and mineral composition of the ore is shown in Tables 1 and 2, respectively. Seen from the table, there are divalent metals such as gold, silver and copper. More than 99% of the copper is present in the form of oxides, of which 18% of the copper is present in carbonate minerals such as chrysocolla, and a very small amount of copper is present in the sulfide ore. Since the ore contains a large amount of copper oxide, it is not advisable to use cyanide directly to recover gold and silver.

(2) Embedding characteristics of gold and silver

98% of the gold is distributed in quartz and its content ranges from 0.1g/t to 165g/t, with an average of 15g/t. In metal minerals, the content of gold varies from 0 g/t to 4.9 g/t. The particle size of gold is from 0.008 mm to 1.0 mm, and its distribution is shown in Table 3. It can be seen from the table that 84% of the gold has a particle size greater than 0.07 mm, of which 25% is coarse gold.

The occurrence status of gold and silver is shown in Table 4. It can be seen from the table that 92.7% of gold exists in the form of coarser monomers or gold-silver alloys. The symbiotic relationship between gold and copper minerals is not close, and only 5.6% of gold is symbiotic with copper, iron and lead . 60% of silver is closely symbiotic with copper, iron and lead, so it can be recycled with copper.

Second, mineral processing test research

According to the mineral technology analysis, due to the large amount of copper oxide in the ore, when the gold is recovered by cyanidation, it will react with cyanide to produce copper cyanide ion, which will cause a large loss of cyanide, reduce the dissolution rate of gold, and the ore. The gold in the form mainly exists in the form of coarse monomer or gold-silver alloy. Therefore, gold is recovered by re-election method, and then the valuable copper and the remaining gold are recovered by flotation, and the recovery rate of the valuable metal is improved.

(1) Re-election test

In this test, the experiment of rough selection and shaker selection process using spiral chute and water jacket type gold selection machine was carried out. The schematic diagram of the STL type water jacket type gold separator in the equipment is shown in Figure 1. The equipment is a centrifugal ore dressing equipment similar to the Knelson concentrator . It is suitable for the recovery of monomer gold in gold, vein gold and polymetallic ore. It can replace mercury plate operation, and can also sort monomer gold from gold-containing flotation gold-copper concentrate and flotation gold concentrate. The highest centrifugal force is up to 60N.

The test flow is shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3, respectively.

The test results are shown in Table 5. The test results show that the spiral chute has relatively poor recovery ability for gold, and the water jacket type gold separator can effectively recover coarse gold, which can be applied to the grinding classification circuit.

(2) Closed-circuit test of heavy-floating combined process

The flotation condition test was carried out for re-election of tailings, including the amount of sodium sulfide, the adjusting agent, the type of collector and the dosage conditions. Based on this, a small closed-circuit process test was carried out. The test flow is shown in Figure 4. The test results are shown in the table. 6, re-selected concentrate containing gold 2705g / t, the recovery rate of 58.43%. The copper grade in copper concentrate is 34.34%, the recovery rate is 70.16%, the gold content is 151.37g/t, and the total recovery rate of gold is 94.8%. The test obtained good indicators.

Third, the conclusion

(1) The embedding of gold in the ore is coarser and can be recovered by re-election. Using the spiral chute and shaker recovery process, the gold concentrate grade 170g/t can be obtained, and the recovery rate is 40.08%.

(2) Using the combination of shaker and centrifugal water jacketing machine to recover the gold process, the grain size can be greatly reduced, and the grinding cost can be saved. The grade of gold concentrate is high, reaching 2705.00g/t, and the recovery rate is 58.43%.

(3) For the re-selection of copper oxide ore in re-selected tailings and re-election of unrecovered fine-grained gold ore, the vulcanization-xanthate flotation reagent system is adopted, and copper and gold are simultaneously recovered and recovered, and the copper grade is 34.34% in closed-circuit test. The copper concentrate has a copper recovery rate of 70.16%, copper concentrate contains 151.37g/t, and the total gold recovery rate is 94.8%.
