Following the completion of the H1288 and H1289 projects of Shanghai Gaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. at the end of August, the first self-elevating platform H1288 project built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao was completed on September 8-13. The numbering head successfully completed the lifting work of five key structures for 6 consecutive days. The successful completion of the five key structural hoisting of the project blew the “rushing number†of the installation and commissioning work of the first self-elevating platform dock.
The first self-elevating platform H1288 project under construction at Shanghai Waigaoqiao, the five key structures hoisted at Pier 5 include cantilever beams, drill rigs, derricks, and 334 sections of helicopter platforms and pile legs, hoisting works. All of them were completed by Shanghai Waigaoqiao and the 2,500-ton floating crane of "Floating Crane No. 5". This series of hoisting projects is complex, and the key structures with different shapes are difficult in hoisting safety and precision control. This is the first time in the history of Shanghai Waigaoqiao shipbuilding construction. The total length of the hoisting cantilever beam is about 1,661 tons, which is one of the most critical operating areas of the entire platform drilling system, and it is also the modular product with the highest integrity of the armor. This structure is hoisted by floating cranes. It is currently the first in China, and the total tonnage of hoisting has also created a new record for the hoisting tonnage of Shanghai Waigaoqiao.
