Engine 44 arrived on scene Tuesday afternoon at 3:35 PM to find smoke coming from a two-story warehouse located at 3352 W. Grand. The building measured 500 by 300 feet. Firefighters quickly stretched two lines to several trash piles inside the structure. Tower 14 and Truck 35 had their main apparatus in place, ready for immediate action.
Within 10 minutes of arrival, crews made contact with the fire and began suppression efforts. The rapid response helped contain the blaze before it could spread further.
Photos from the scene show Engine 44 and Tower 14 working alongside other units. Truck 25 was also seen on site, assisting with water supply and support. Firefighters were seen moving through the building, clearly focused on the task at hand.
