Here's a message from Martin Nowak:

In 2013, the Hinsdale Fire Department replaced their 1999 International 4700/Horton ambulance with a new 2013 Ford F-450/Marque unit designated as Ambulance 1015. I'm not exactly sure where the old ambulance ended up, but I did spot Engine 1012, which is a 1987 Pierce pumper, at the Public Works Garage.

It’s always interesting to see how departments update their fleet, and these photos give a nice look at the new ambulance in action. Whether it's for emergency response or community service, having modern equipment makes a big difference in efficiency and safety. The old engine being spotted at the Public Works Garage also adds a bit of history to the story. It's great that Martin shared these images so we can all get a better sense of what's going on in the local fire department.
