On May 25th, 2011, Shanghai Automotive Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd.'s Wuxi factory was formally opened in the Wushan Development Zone in Wuxi. The company will use Wuxi base as the core to enter the domestic and overseas market in Europe, South America, and Africa. An internationally competitive Chinese commercial vehicle production base.

SAIC Motor is the largest listed company in the domestic A-share market. According to statistics, SAIC Motor Group produced and sold 3.5,584,400 vehicles in 2010, ranking first in China, among which passenger vehicles accounted for the majority, and the development of commercial vehicle blocks became SAIC Motor’s 2011 The main breakthrough.

The development of commercial vehicles by SAIC is a trend. With the acceleration of urbanization in China, the demand for commercial vehicles that have functions such as commuting tourism, passenger and cargo dual-use, logistics express, and special-purpose conversion has become prominent, and is represented by multi-functional commercial vehicles. The automotive market that meets the urban mobility needs will usher in great development.

Compared with the passenger car market, the competition of multi-functional commercial vehicles in China is not fierce, and the entire market has strong demand but few competitive products. SAIC will focus on deepening the commercial vehicle market and lead the domestic market. The industrial chain of auto parts in Jiangsu and Zhejiang is well developed and it is wise to settle down in Wuxi. In the future, the product R&D applications will be transferred from Shanghai to Wuxi.

SAIC Motor has introduced an international commercial vehicle brand MAXUS to enhance the core competitiveness of commercial vehicles. It was introduced into China by SAIC Motor’s wholly-owned acquisition in 2009. The MAXUS brand has a history of nearly 100 years in Europe and is known as the legendary commercial vehicle brand in the world. This time, the first MAXUS Chase V80 product produced by the SAIC Commercial Vehicle Wuxi plant integrates the passenger vehicle standard into the production of commercial vehicles, and has won international recognition at the 2011 Shanghai International Auto Show just after the end of the year. Thanks to the extensive influence of the MAXUS brand in foreign countries, the response from overseas markets is much higher than domestic ones.

It is reported that MAXUS Chase V80 will be simultaneously onshore and overseas markets in the second half of 2011. At present, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, and the output value will exceed RMB 10 billion.

In the process of Machining Titanium alloy, the titanium alloy material itself has low modulus of elasticity, large elastic deformation, high cutting temperature, low thermal conductivity and high chemical activity at high temperature, which makes the sticky knife phenomenon serious, easily aggravating the tool wear and even breakage, which leads to the poor machinability of the titanium alloy. Therefore, machining titanium alloy requires proper cutting tools and good machining technology.
