3622 Chicago Avenue. A 3-story building, 50 x 75 feet, with businesses on the first floor and apartments above. The incident was reported at 06:04 hours. Smoke was reported by 95. Company 44 connected to the hydrant on the southwest corner and deployed a 2 1/2-inch line to the rear. Truck 26 took control of Sector 2. A large pile of debris was found on the first-floor rear.
Companies involved: 44, 95, 346, 336, 242, Rit, 345, 237, 552, 271. Battalion 13 was occupied with a SWAT team warrant and couldn’t respond immediately.
