According to the Yonhap News Agency, China's largest LED lighting company, Qinshang Optoelectronics, held a Korean business launching ceremony at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul, Korea on the 18th, officially entering the Korean lighting market.
Li Xuliang, chairman of Qinshang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. said in his speech that he will cooperate with Korean partner Digisys to provide reliable lighting products for Korea. A person in charge of Digisys proposed the three business development strategies of Qinshang Optoelectronics, namely, realizing localized production, achieving common development with Korean SMEs, and achieving internationalization. In order to achieve local production, Qinshang Optoelectronics will establish a production base in South Korea in 2015.
Qinshang Optoelectronics plans to achieve annual sales of US$15 million in Korea and has signed an LED lighting installation agreement with Yilian Group. Founded in 1994, Qinshang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is the first listed LED lighting manufacturer in China. Its main products include street lights, tunnel lights, security lights, park lights, parking lots, etc. It has more than 400 lighting researchers.
