On the afternoon of November 27, China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully produced the first batch of finished polyester staple fiber at Luoyang Shihua Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. This marked a successful test run of the 150-ton polyester staple fiber post-treatment combined machine developed by the company. The Luoyang Shihua project has a total design capacity of 150,000 tons per year, with three spinning lines each capable of producing 150 tons. The overall project was handled by the U.S.-based Chemtex Company, while the post-treatment equipment for all three lines was supplied by Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. Except for some key components such as crimping and cutting machines that were imported from abroad, most of the major equipment was manufactured domestically. The core parts were designed and produced by Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., and the electrical control system was developed in collaboration with the Research Institute of China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. Additionally, the baling system used standardized products from Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. To date, the company has already delivered six sets of this advanced machinery to both domestic and international clients. The successful launch of the first domestically produced 150-ton polyester staple fiber post-treatment system marks a significant milestone in China’s chemical fiber machinery industry. It not only meets the growing demand in the domestic market but also demonstrates the capability of Chinese manufacturers to compete on the global stage.
