On the afternoon of November 27, China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary, Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd., successfully completed the first batch of finished polyester staple fiber at Luoyang Shihua Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. This marked a significant milestone in the successful testing of the 150-ton post-treatment combined machine for polyester staple fiber. The Luoyang Shihua project has a total design capacity of 150,000 tons per year, with three spinning lines each capable of producing 150 tons. The project was contracted by U.S.-based Chemtex, while the post-treatment equipment for all three lines was supplied by Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. Except for some key components such as crimping and cutting machines that were imported, most of the core machinery was produced domestically. The main components were designed and manufactured by Zhengzhou Textile Machinery, while the electrical control system was developed in collaboration with the Research Institute of China Textile Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. Additionally, the baling system used standardized products from Zhengzhou Textile Machinery. To date, the company has already delivered six sets of this advanced equipment to both domestic and international clients. The successful commissioning of the first domestically produced 150-ton polyester staple fiber post-treatment system represents a major breakthrough in China’s chemical fiber machinery industry. It not only meets the needs of the domestic market but also demonstrates China’s growing capability to compete on the global stage.
