Plainfield Fire Protection District responded to a garage fire this morning (Friday) in the 16400 block of Winding Creek Road. Engine 1941 was the first on scene and reported a working fire. The flames were contained to the attached garage, and firefighters worked quickly to bring the situation under control. The crews did an excellent job, and it looks like the fire didn’t spread to the main structure. Great response from everyone involved.
