Recently, Cargotec's MacGregor has received an order for a lashing bridge for three 18,000 TEU container ships to be built by China Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding. MacGregor's contract includes the design and assembly of approximately 5,400 tons of lashing bridge steel structures and an alternative contract for three other vessels.
It is reported that MacGregor's flat three-layer high-binding bridge combines steel profiles and plate structures, which has advantages in weight, reducing the possibility of corrosion and surface corrosion, and the positioning connecting rods are interchangeable and user-friendly.
