China developed high-power doubly-fed asynchronous wind turbines through North American ETL certification

The 1.5 MW and 3 MW high-power doubly-fed asynchronous wind generators independently developed by China CNR Yongji Electric Co., Ltd. have successfully passed the North American ETL (American Electronic Test Laboratory) certification. This means that the company has obtained a pass to the wind power market in North America, which indicates that the products of China's wind power manufacturing companies have reached the advanced level of similar international products, and they have the strength to compete with internationally leading wind power companies on the same platform.

The two types of high-power wind power products certified by Yongji Electric Company, such as type testing, IP level testing and grounding current testing, fully meet the requirements of ETL certification, and will support the domestic mainframe plant doubly-fed generators as a whole to export North American wind power market. At present, Yongji Electric has formed a capacity of more than 4,000 wind turbine generators supporting 1,500 to 6,000 kilowatts per year.
